Predators

Although this site is mainly a Swedish carp fishing site, Sweden is world famous for its predators, especially big Pike, not to mention the Perch, Zander, Trout & Salmon.
It would be rude not to have a go for the Predators now and again :)

I am no Pike expert but i do have a little experience and have sampled the pike fishing here in "Sverige".

I have not caught a crododile yet, but here a few pics and videos of what i have had on the bank/boat

My First 10kg Pike (First 20 pounder)

I am very happy with this catch as i have been searching for a 10kg Pike for a long time.
I only fish for pike 3 or 4 times a year, usually in November & December so this is a happy moment. I was Trolling with a Minn Kota 40 Electric Motor.
This was my first Pike Session of 2009 and my first BITE!!!
The Pike was caught on Float Trolled Dead Herring that i was reeling in at the time it took it.
The deadbait was less than a meter from the surface.
I was alone on this session so i drove the boat to land to unhook the fish and get photo's from people that were passing by. Hence the reason you see no boat in the pics .
