Diary : An Evening Sea Trout Fishing

11th April 2005 - The Frölunda Coast.

I decided to go and do a little sea trout fishing this evening along with a fishing mate, Pelle. The spot we usually fish is only a 10 minute drive from home

I had been fishing here for Sea Trout with Pelle here before, quite a few times over the last 2 or 3 years. Funnily enough i have never caught anything here, ever. Whereas i have seen Pelle catch a load of Sea Trout (Havsöring) and Garfish (Näbbgädda).

We arrived at about 18:30 and i started off with an Abu Toby 18g. After about 10 minutes i had hooked my first Sea Trout (500g)from this place and also the first fish of 2005. I removed the treble hook, Jeanette took some "Happy Snaps" and we released it back into the sea.

It must have been 15 minutes later when another small sea trout graced the net, and it was two - nil to me. But this was taken on a Fladen Sea Trout lure.
It soon began to get dark but we stayed until 21:00 before the cold began to bite through the Gor-tex waders. In that time i managed another small trout and so did Pelle. So it ended in a 3 - 1 Victory to me.
All 4 Sea Trout were released

Well my first fish of 2005 was not a carp but a little ole Sea Trout. Below are some photos from the evening
